Hello dark friends,
I’m definitely a little late to the game on starting up a newsletter, but I guess now is a good a time as any!
To be honest, the thought of having a newsletter always intimidated me. I’ve debated back and forth on making one too many times to count and kept putting off the decision, which is very on brand for me.
Putting myself out in the world has always been a hard thing to do for an introvert like me. In my real life, I’ve always been a bit reserved and find it difficult to open up or want to share things about myself with others. So the idea of having a space that people could actively seek out to read my thoughts and actually want to hear what I had to say…I think that was in some ways more terrifying than the thought of publishing a book! But now with all of my excuses out of the way…
Hi! I’m Katia Black, an author and admirer of all things fantasy and romance. I like to read and write a bit on the dark side and fall head over heels with every unhinged and pathetically obsessed MMC I come across. My debut novel, A Study of Blood and Ichor is a standalone dark paranormal why choose romance where you can expect a lot of demons, magic, exorcisms, angsty romance, and lots and lots of blood.
